Covert Public Schools

On September 24, our 9th- and 11th-grade girls headed north to Grace Adventures with several staff members to attend our eagerly anticipated girls' retreat. While there, the students participated in a variety of problem-solving and team-building activities designed to build their self-confidence and their understanding of creating a culture of value for those around them. The girls also had the opportunity to try new things, such as ziplining, kayaking, and the high ropes course. Each day, the girls pushed themselves to step outside their comfort zones while also getting to know other students they may not regularly engage with. It was such a great time, and in a few weeks, our 9th and 11th-grade boys will have the chance to experience their own self-discoveries.
