Covert Public Schools

Early in May, our 2nd-grade students had a lot of fun at the Agriculture Awareness Days. The Van Buren County Agriculture Awareness Days are held annually at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Michigan, typically concluding in early May. Hosted by Van Buren Tech, the 2026 event brought together over 800 second-grade students from across the county for hands-on learning. Our 2nd graders saw many animals and learned about crops that are grown in our region.
